The Cheddar Box Cafe

First and foremost, the service here was amazing! The waitress went out of her way even while busy to make us feel welcome and taken care of! Also the food was fantastic and extremely reasonably priced. What I loved is that the food tasted locally made and home made, it didn’t taste mass produced and I loved it. I meant to take pic to share.... I was too busy eating it to do so. Also, don’t leave without dessert. I will be back and encourage you to try it

It is rare that you find a restaurant where the food is so good that you begin plotting when you will visit next before you leave. Everything is delicious from the pies to the salads to the quiche to the sandwiches... EVERYTHING. The locals know, this is the place to eat.

This place is already awesome! But what happened today I will never forget. I go here at least once a week or more because they always have delicious, tasty, fresh, new and fun things from lunch to dessert! Just saw this “Chutney Bacon Toast” today for example (pic). The staff is so friendly and inviting! Speaking of, another co-worker came up to me and said, Megan who sees me frequently, told me that this week part of a gift to give back is each employee is allowed to give gift a meal to a customer of their choice. I couldn’t believe it when they told me my meal was FREE! It truly made me feel really good! I always give to anyone and everyone whenever I can in anyway I can and to receive it back was very touching! Thank you again so much staff at the Cheddar Box Cafe and Megan! Happy holidays! They have delicious food and the staff was always friendly. I worked a few miles away making it possible for me to have my favorite salad with a fresh baguette every day for lunch. I moved to Florida 23 years ago and I still think about the Cheddar Box and that salad! I wish they would open one down here!

Saturday 10/19/2024, 14 of us from the Condo Association at Swan Pointe met at The Cheddar Box for lunch. Julie was our waitress and Jenna was the Hostess but was also helping out as a Server. The restaurant was filling up pretty fast. It was cute the way it was split in half with a deli on the left side and then we went through a doorway and it was a quaint little restaurant. Julie went around the tables getting our drink orders while we looked over the menu. There was a great variety of sandwiches, salads, and soups. They had Sourdough bread on the tables and there were three types of bread you could have for sandwiches, White, Wheat and Rye. You could get 1/2 Sandwiches and a cup of soup. There were chicken dishes and Julie, our waitress told us that 2 days a week they have a Fish Meal that is fantastic. Some of the sandwiches that were ordered today were Pimento Cheese, Benedict Cheese, BLT, Tuna, and Chicken Salad. They had a Sweet Chili Chicken, that looked really good. Their menu was very easy to pull up and download. Everything went flawlessly and the food was so good. Julie and Jenna kept our glasses filled and even suggested desserts but everyone in our group was so full, there were no takers, but next time I bet we all stop eating a bit sooner, so we have room for their desserts! It was a great outing. Several of us had never been there to eat, but my husband and I will return. We loved the servers, the food and the atmosphere. It was definitely a 5 Star restaurant!

We stopped here on a road trip, everything about this place is absolutely incredible. The staff is very kind and the food is unique and fresh. Highly recommend the sweet tea, tomato artichoke soup, pimento cheese sandwich, and lemon blueberry cake. We will definitely be back

Nice spot for lunch with a great deli counter. We have sandwiches and salads, all were fresh and delicious. On the other side they've got a deli counter with goodies and sweets.
